Salman Khan is back in news for another reason-religion
Salman Khan is back in news for another reason; he was first searching for freedom now he has his religion on stake, thanks to some people. A much-revered Muslim seminary in Bareilly in west UP has issued a fatwa against Salman for attending a Ganesh puja.
Some people keep all this line to divide our country in the name of religion and caste. Shiv is Allah, Allah is Shiv I don’t understand when this people will know the real truth about humanity.
The fatwa says that the actor come to an end to be a true Muslim after worshipping Lord Ganesha in Mumbai recently. The order was issued as Islam prohibits all kinds of idol worship.
“A Muslim guilty of but-parasti (idol worship) ceases to be a true Muslim… he would have to recite the kalma in the name of Allah again, and publicly ask for forgiveness to become a Muslim,” said Maulana Farooq Barelvi, mufti at the “Darul Ifta Manzar-e-Islam” at Bareilly Sharif
Salman Khan, whose mother is a Maharashtrian, had participated in the Ganpati festival as he has been doing every year.
However, the fatwa is seen as “unjustified” by some clerics. Renowned Shia cleric Maulana Kalbe Kawwad said:“If one ceases to be a Muslim just because of respecting another religion, it means he was not a true Muslim in the first place.”

RGV Ki Aag bowled out of some theatres

Ram Gopal Varma gave us one of the biggest flops of recent times. Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag is now being pulled off theaters. "I will go down in the history of cinema anyhow. If the film clicks with the audiences then I will be the man who remade Sholay and if it doesn't then I will be the man who will ruin Sholay," said Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma.
Hearing this quotation, one can say, that Ramu was prepared for flop with his latest film.In Sholay, Gabbar had asked Kaalia: "Kitne aadmi thee ree". After a string of flops Ramu could well ask: "Kitne flops thee bhai."
But the filmmaker has broken one record. He made the most disastrous film of the year and one of the biggest flops in recent history. "This film is the biggest flop. Films like Razia Sultan and Umrao Jaan have been flops over the years, but this beats them all. It didn't even have a decent starting," said Trade analyst Amod Mehra.
Now, since Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag is making no money, it is being taken off the screens. "I don't know what to say about the film. It's just been disastrous. We can't go beyond this week because the auditoriums are literally vacant," said Rakesh Sharma, GM, Cinemax, Sion.
In the coming days two more Ramu films hit the screen, his horror flick Darling and the sequel to Sarkar. Hopefully the man who gave Hindi cinema films like Satya, Company and Sarkar will get it right at the box office this time.

'Sivaji' in Hindi; looking for Diwali release
Hindi speaking fans of Rajnikanth have something more to cheer about.
Now they would be able to see the mega star Rajnikanth mouth his own dialogues in Hindi as the blockbuster of 2007 'Sivaji- The Boss' to be released soon during Diwali period.
To suit the different set of audience that the film is targeting, the three hour plus film would be edited by around 30-40 minutes. Also, there are talks about a few scenes being added to add a slight Bollywood flavour to the narrative. Work is currently in progress for the film's dubbing and the plans are on to bring the film on Diwali this year. As of now, Rajnikanth is confirmed for dubbing his own lines from the film.

Gandhi My Father
Gandhi My Father is an epic story spanning from 1906 to 1948. Harilal Gandhi first incurs his father's disapproval when he marries young. He's marrying a girl chosen by his father after four long years of engagement and yet Gandhi decides that he must break relations with Harilal.
Harilal is a simple man who wants simple things: a wife, home, children. His only ambition is to become a barrister. Perhaps one day, he tells his wife, father and son can have their own law firm, Gandhi and Gandhi. But his father is, as General Smutts says, a politician on his way to sainthood. The supremely idealistic Father of the Nation is a dysfunctional father at home. Gandhi's inability to understand the small desires of his eldest son and Harilal's inability to live fruitfully in his father's colossal shadow sets the stage for disaster. Harilal dies, a drunk, alone and unknown, in a Bombay hospital.
Gandhi my father has evolved from director Feroze Abbas Khan's play Gandhi vs Mahatma.
So the film, despite lavish period set design and production values, feels stagey. It's slow, especially in the second half and the transitions are clunky. Harilal's journey is exasperating - he compounds his bad luck with bad behaviour and there's never any good news. But despite these flaws, Gandhi My Father deserves to be seen. Debutant director Feroz Khan has a fine eye for detail and debutant producer Anil Kapoor has a fierce desire to create a world class movie. So Gandhi My Father has ambition and craft. It also has a towering performance by Akshay Khanna whose trembling lips encapsulate a lifetime of frustration and sadness. The other stand out performance is Shefali Shah as Kasturba, forever torn and enduring. The film is a wrenching account of one family's tragedy. I strongly recommend that you see it.

SRK bags Robot, Shankar's next
After directing the samrath of Tamil cinema, Rajnikanth, director Shankar is all set to direct the King of Bollywood. Yes, Shankar's next film is going to be in Hindi with Shah Rukh Khan.
Directing Rajnikanth in Sivaji The Boss, and fulfilling the expectations of the superstar's fans was one of the toughest assignments for Shankar, and he has come out successfully. Even when his films broke one box office record after another, Shankar carried with him a dream, a dream to make a science fiction. But that had to be a magnum opus and could not be done in a regional language, even though a Tamil film like Sivaji grossed crores of rupees at the box office.
After reports of Kamal Haasan and then Hrithik Roshan leading the cast of Shankar's science fiction, Robot, it is Shah Rukh Khan who has now bagged the role. Incidentally, Robot will be produced by SRK himself, under his Red Chillies Entertainment banner.
